Assistant Professor of Physics, Vanderbilt University

About

I spent my undergraduate years in Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, majored in physics and minored in neuroscience. During the last few years as an undergraduate student I participated in the CMS experiment with the MIT heavy ion group.
I graduated from California Institute of Technology with a PhD degree in high energy physics. I worked with professor Maria Spiropulu in CMS experiment at CERN.
After graduating from Caltech I went on to join CERN as a research fellow and later MIT as a senior postdoctoral fellow working mainly in heavy-ion physics, including jet and related measurements, and global Bayesian analysis to extract physics! I’m excited to join Vanderbilt in 2023 as a junior faculty to further my studies in heavy-ion physics and to explore the unknown.
